History of Maths Week

To begin the week we looked at lots of different number systems and asked the questions:

What is the same?

What is different?

What do you notice?

What can you work out?

History of Maths Week

To finish our History of Maths Week, we went on a Roman numeral hunt.

When we found them, we could work out the answers to some fascinating facts.

Did you know that a giraffe has a 21 inch long tongue?

Did you know that a man called Charles Osbourne has hiccups for 69 years?
