Animal Visitors!
June 2022
More animals came to visit us in nursery! We asked their owner lots of questions and learned many new facts. We stroked the animals and some of us held the snake!
We had some very special visitors in Nursery. Christine and Phil brought Oscar the barn owl, Harry the hognosed snake, and Arnie the tortoise.
We sat very quietly whilst Christine told us all about the animals. We learned that barn owls live in barns, and that tortoises can live for a long time. Arnie had just come out of hibernation!
We carefully stroked Oscar on his back, and Harry on his tail. Arnie had a little wander around!
Later we read Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and acted out the story with puppets.
