The Maya
We worked in groups to create a mural on an aspect of the Mayan civilisation. Our class focused on The Gods, Kings and Nobles and musicians and warriors. Our mural paintings were put with Mr Gruffydd class to create a hierarchy mural.

Key Stage 2 Exploring Our World
Each class was given a continent to research and from this research artwork was produced.
Our class had had the continent Asia and had to find out about Origami, Rangoli, Mandalas and Shui-Mo.
We then created pieces of art on these four techniques.

Changing State and Separating Materials
As part of our Victorian Britain topic we looked at how steam engines worked. For steam engines to work they have to go through a changing state process. This led into a science work completing various practical investigations.
Reading Challenge
Mrs Ross set us the challenge to read the most obscure place. We found some very interesting places!
