🌟 The Outdoor Nativity 🌟
We have been learning about the story of The First Christmas. The children chose who they wanted to be (surprisingly with no arguments!) and we acted out the story
We are all very proud of them and we hope you enjoy our class production!
This term we are learning about important celebrations that happen around this time of year.
As the children haven’t been able to have their normal birthday celebrations and parties this year, we held a ‘Birthday Party’ in school. We celebrated all the children that had birthdays during the Autumn Term. We had fun playing party games and ate party food.
We have been exploring different materials to make our own firework pictures. We’ve used pastels, chalk, felt pens, glass pebbles and glitter paints! During Forest Friday we piled up lots of leaves to make a big bonfire, then we had hot chocolate and biscuits to warm us up!
This week we have collaged, coloured and painted poppies. We talked about why we wear poppies and watched a video of a remembrance service in London. We all stood outside to look at our poppies and do our own 2 minutes silence.
