DT - Making Bog Baby Puppets
This term we spent time examining existing puppets.
We decided what made a good puppet and then we designed our own puppet to tell 'Bog Baby' stories .
We were both original and creative and came up with new and interesting interpretations of what a Bog Baby looked like in our imagination.
We created our own templates and prototypes and checked the fit.
Later we made our puppets, thinking carefully about which materials would work best for each part of the design. We now know that we can join materials using glue and sewing.
Last of all we evaluated our puppets to see how far we had come and what we could improve about our puppets.
