MindUp - The Brain Break....pause....listen....breathe

In school we teach children about emotional wellbeing and mindfulness through a programme called MindUp. We have 3 daily brain breaks in school.

We invite you to listen and follow our Brain Break (audio in link). Take time to pause, listen and breathe together, this will help strengthen focus and support emotional balance for all the family.

Teaching children to focus on and control their breathing can help them become less reactive and more reflective when feeling anxious or stressed. The more controlled breathing is practised, the more calm and mindful they can become.
