We are recommending the following free websites as a resource. 

 

 

Oxford Owl is a free resource which links directly to our school reading scheme. Many books are available to read online. They also have additional phonics and maths resources you will be able to access at home. Click on the picture to go to the website.

 

Funbrain is a website which has a number of books available online including chapter books. It is American and some of the language is obviously different. Click on the picture to go to the website.

 

Again, this site is American but has lots of books and games which the children really enjoy. There are a number of comprehension games too. Click on the picture to go to the website.

 

This is a lovely selection of books children can read online. Click on the picture to go to the website.

David Walliams is releasing a FREE audio story every day for the next 30 days. Click on the picture to go to the website.

 

CBeebies Bedtime Stories - A different story read each night just before bedtime. For more stories, head over to the CBeebies Storytime app. Click on the picture to go to the website.
