Well it's half term already and there won't be any work set.
There are still lots of things you could do if you want to.
Make an object out of one or more toilet roll tubes / kitchen rolls. There are lots of ideas on the main page. You can email a picture to either Mrs Smith or me and I will forward them on.
You could have a go at some of the ideas on here. Some require a screen for instructions but some don't.
It is supposed to be nice and sunny next week so there are a few things that you can do with shadows.
You could use the dandelions or flowers to create a shadow picture like this. Strike a pose and get someone to photo your shadow. You could send it in if you wish.
Use an object that makes an interesting shadow and draw round it. Action figures or toy animals work really well for this. Or if you have others at home you could draw round their shadow.
Because it is half term, any places that would usually be open are having virtual days. You can visit zoos and museums and many places are doing special online activities especially for children. London Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo have wildlife cams where you can watch the animals, and our own local wildlife park have ranger talks where you can find out more about the animals.
Below is a document with other ideas for virtual tours.
You could have a go at the Scavenger Hunt on your walks. Find something to go in each of the categories. You photograph it, sketch it or describe it.
