I Am Me...A Week on Emotional Resilience

I Am Me

We are going to start off the New Year by looking at ourselves and our emotions. We will explore the power of emotions and what different emotions mean to us. We will focus on different intensities of emotions and how different emotions evoke colourful representations in our heads. Throughout the week, we will use different texts to learn about ourselves and how we can take control of our feelings. We will use different methods to practise self-regulation (including making slime, glitter bottles and bubbles) and will represent ourselves using artwork. We hope that this week will set the foundations for the rest of the year and support children with their needs.

The videos and ideas below can be used at home if you feel they would be useful.
