Our own inventions (homework)
Cranes
This week we have been inventors. We have learnt about families that have their houses in trees, and thinking about how they might get their eggs from the Easter Bunny. We decided that if the Easter Bunny leaves their eggs at the bottom of the tree, we could invent a mechanism to help the families easily retreave their eggs. The children made a simple winch mechanism to use to pull the egg up the tree. They designed, chose the materials, made then tested their cranes themselves. Then we evaluated the cranes effectiveness as a class. Great work everyone!
