Mr Gruffydd’s page

Hello! I hope you're all still happy and finding lots of things to do during all this time at home. I've been playing lots of football with my son and going on walks most days. We've also been doing lots of home schooling and I'm learning to bake cakes! Thanks very much for all the photos you have sent so far.

As I'm sure you all know, this Friday we will be celebrating 75 years since VE day. If you have anything planned or get up to any fun activities to mark this important day, please let me know and I'll share it with the class.

If anybody would like to send a video message to cheer up your classmates and say hello, please let me have it and I'll put it on here. I'm going to send a video message to you all this week. You'll have to excuse the hair though! All the barbers are closed :)

Take care, stay safe and keep smiling! Also, keep sending photos and videos of all the fantastic things you have been doing. My email is below if you want to send me things or get in touch about anything.

Here are a few things I've been doing:
As it is half term next week, we will not set any extra work for you to do. However, please make sure you take exercise and do lots of fun activities with your family. It might be a great chance for you to read a book and explore a new author or genre of writing. As you can see here, somebody has been reading lots during lockdown. She has read ALL of these books and is still going!!

Bath time for Ziggy!

Mrs Hawkins has been busy giving Ziggy a bath!

Mrs Hawkins told me that he absolutely hates having a bath but he loves to shake all the water off afterwards (she was soaked!) and he adores being dried with his towel.

More fun on VE day! Looks like a tasty cake!!

Lots of great decorations for VE Day. You've clearly worked really hard on this and they look brilliant. Well done!!

VE Day preparations and activities. The timeline is absolutely brilliant. Well done!

Getting ready for VE day!

A hedgehog house in the garden! Fantastic!!

Planting flowers and vegetables and taking care of her horse! Looks like great fun!

Lots of outdoor activities here along with a really interesting fact file poster about wolves. Well done!!

Somebody has been very busy! Cooking, exercising and even camping out in the garden.

Making bird feeders

Somebody is keeping busy at home! Helping with housework, lots of art and crafts and keeping active in the garden. Well done!!

Football skills!
