Writing invitations to our nativity
We looked at what invitations were and what the most important pieces of information were to have on them. The children were very good at deciphering that. They thought very carefully about what the people who were coming to see their play might need to know. The children made some fantastic invitations. We hope you liked them!
Reading the script
As we were analysing our play, we found that the script told us in the stage directions that we needed some prop signs to hold us as the travellers were walking to Bethlehem.
So we discussed what a “prop” sign was and how it is different from just a normal sign and how we could make one. As a class we came up with what would make a good prop sign. We called it our success/design criteria.
