Nursery 2019-2020

World Book Day 2020

We had lots of fun dressing up as our favourite book characters and reading our favourite stories.

Can you find Wally...?😁
A year 6 friend came to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to us.

A Gruffalo! What’s a Gruffalo?

We love stories about the Gruffalo! We dressed up, made footprints like the Gruffalo’s child and listened to the stories lots of times.

Autumn Outdoor Learning.

What a lovely week!

We’ve been exploring pumpkins, painting with mud, colour matching and finding hedgehogs.

We love being outside. We can be louder, messier and more free! We can learn about nature and explore.

Being outside is fun and exciting!

We worked with James Brunt today to create some natural art.

We had to collect lots of leaves!

We added these to the spiral shape. Some of us thought it looked like a snail, or a whirlpool!

The day we planted 2,250 daffodil bulbs!

We made our yearly Autumn walk to Stand Road Park to help the Friends plant daffodil bulbs.

It was hard work but everybody helped.
Together we planted 2,250 bulbs!
After all that hard work it was time for a drink and a biscuit....
And a well-deserved play on the park!
We’ll be back to see the daffodils in the Spring 🌼
