Splashy, drippy, messy paintings
Jackson Pollock is famous for making splashy, drippy, messy paintings! This way of painting is called action painting. Sometimes he threw the paint onto the canvas. We were inspired by Jackson Pollock and made our own splashy, drippy, messy paintings. We even made our own paint using mud!
We really enjoyed taking our learning outside this week! We explored nature through art and photography. We practised our counting and ordering skills using autumn leaves, we learnt about hedgehogs and made our own saltdough hedgehog.
