Phonics

Please find all the activity sheets needed to complete the daily Phonics task in this folder. In the weekly folders we will tell you the sounds we are learning that week. We will learn a new sound every day.

We know that lots of you are wanting to help your child with phonics at home but are worried about 'getting it right' ... we wanted to reassure you that any resources (Twinkl, Teach your Monster to Read) that include Phase 2 or 3 sounds are supporting and embedding your child's phonics learning.

CBeebies Alphablocks have produced a phonics guide for parents, breaking it down step-by-step and explaining the key vocabulary.

The phonics scheme we use in school is Phonics International. If you would like to use this at home with your child there are a range of free resources online, the link below will take you to a brief introduction to phonics and the  scheme.
