This is the pod where a selection of keyworker children will spend their time in school.
The teacher in this pod will be Miss Riley, supported by Mrs Screen.
Over the past three weeks, Pod 2 have settled into pod life and are having lots of fun learning and developing. Together and with smiles on their faces, the children have been playing and exploring whilst developing their early learning goals. They have answered lots of questions from adults with great maturity and should be very proud of all they have achieved in a very short time.
We have spent time to understand how our bodies change as we grow older, how to live a healthy lifestyle and what amazing creatures live in the ocean. The children have shown exceptional perseverance when tackling their phonics sounds (including lots of blending) and tricky maths problems. Amazing!
Next week, we are looking forward to more fun and games in Pod 2 where we will be collaboratively building our own castle, making clay nature prints, looking after our runner beans in the outside area alongside all other areas of their learning and development.
Please remember your hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water as it looks like it could be a warm week.
Here are some pictures from our adventures so far.
