Science
Most of our science is taught through our topic lessons through linked learning. Sometimes we have a big question that doesn’t link to our overall topic. We looked at a big question this week that got us thinking about properties of materials and uses of materials from our prior learning but we applied it to a different problem.
This big question - What if all your clothes were shiny? - prompted lots of wonderful discussion. We did think, pair, share. We used Plus, Minus and Interesting to show our thinking about our own ideas. There is no wrong answer, just our own ideas!
