Exploring habitats

We are learning about different habitats. We looked at the woodland habitat in our school grounds and made our own mini habitats from the things we found there.

Everyday materials - recycling

We talked about what materials could be recycled and what we did to recycle. We watched a video about how waste material is sorted for recycling. Then we sorted our own recycling pictures into the right bin.

Every materials - changing shape

We learned that we can change the shape of materials. We explored changing the shape of strips of paper. We found out we could bend, fold, twist, scrunch and roll. We had great fun making paper sculptures using these skills.
