WBD Share A Story Live
Sharing stories together for just ten minutes a day will encourage a love of reading and it’s fun for everyone! You can read together anywhere and everywhere, from breakfast to bedtime! In the park, on the train, on the sofa, on a plane – reading and sharing stories can happen anywhere at any time.

Thursday 4th March, 10.30am – World Book Day special – Bringing Reading to Life
Starring: Joseph Coelho & Fiona Lumbers, Tom Fletcher and Lydia Monks and special guest Rob Biddulph
Hosted by Nigel Clarke, TV presenter

 

Friday 5th March, 10.30am  – Books and the Real World
Starring: Sita Brahmachari, Jess French and Katherine Rundell
Hosted by Jessie Cave, actor and podcaster

  • Share A Story Corner VIDEO BOOKS TO ENJOY TOGETHER Take ten minutes to share stories with your little ones. Our Share A Story Corner videos have familiar characters and easy to follow stories, and tips for reading together. Look at the pictures together, guess what the characters are up to and ask your child what they think will happen next. Your child will soon be asking to read together again and again!
  • Reading Reccomendations Wondering what book to pick up next? Keen to try a new author? Looking for a book to inspire a reluctant reader? We’re here to help you discover your next read and to give children, families, teachers and librarians ideas of what books are suitable and brilliant for each age and stage of reading.
