Today we are focusing on reading. We need to be able to use our phonic knowledge to read any word, whether it is real or nonsense. We sometimes call nonsense words alien words.
Look at the nonsense flashcards. How many can you read? Remember to er, ir and ur sounds from earlier in the week.
With an adult choose one of the flashcard activities to practise your reading. You can choose more than one activity if you are feeling ambitious!
Now sort the graphemes or choose a word search to do.
