The second important day we want to celebrate this week is.... WINNIE THE POOH DAY! 

  • Brain dump everything you already know about Winnie the Pooh. Write it all down! 
  • Read through the information about Winnie the Pooh. 
  • Write down anything you didn't already know. You can add this to what you have already written down in a different colour or write it somewhere separate. 
  • Have a look through the powerpoint presentation and again, write down anything you didn't already know

 

 

Maths 10:30 

  • Number of the day (you can pick any 3digit number) 
  • Subtract a 2-digit number from a 3-digit numbers - crossing 10 or 100

 

 

Topic 1:00pm 

Winnie the Pooh lived in the woods. But how will he have found his way around? Well, he probably used a map of course! 

Your job this afternoon is to draw a map. This could be of your house + garden, or your street, or your bedroom. Somewhere you know really well. 

Use Winnie the Pooh's map of Hundred Acre Wood to help you with yours. 

Try to include:

  • a bird's eye view of the area using map symbols where you can
  • the four compass points 
  • a key for the symbols
