At Highfield Hall we teach in a cross-curricular manner. Cross-curricular work offers a creative way to develop children's knowledge, skills and understanding while motivating them to learn through stimulating, interconnected topics. This approach crosses subject boundaries which allows for investigations that engage children's imagination.
So you will notice, instead of teaching foundation subjects e.g. science, geography, history separately they are woven into our English lessons through a topic/theme.
