Listen to 'Dancing Queen' by Abba.
Talk together about what you liked or disliked about the song.
Task - Design your own album cover for Dancing Queen. It might feature dancing, mirror balls, disco floors, crowns, bright colours, bubble writing or your own ideas. Listen to the song again as you work.
Lesson 2 - Music and History - Music my grown ups liked when they were my age.
Task - Ask family members who are older that you what music they enjoyed when they were your age. Write each song and the decade it is from (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc) on small pieces of paper. When you have a few, stick them in time order on a bigger piece of paper.
Listen to some of the songs together (Always ensure they are appropriate before sharing them together).
Talk about what you liked and disliked about the songs.
