ENGLISH

For those wanting to practice their writing Jane Considine is holding a video based session on sentence stacking. Children use videos as a stimulus for writing and they can submit their chunk for inclusion in a national story. You can join in everyday at 9.15 through youtube. David Walliams is releasing an audio book everyday for 30 days - https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/

He will be reading a new story every day at 11am. I think previous stories will be uploaded too.

 

Audible have waived their subscription fee for some audio books for children whilst the schools are closed.

JK Rowling has opened up her Wizarding World website to everyone whilst the schools are closed. You can visit here https://www.wizardingworld.com/collections/harry-potter-at-home There are lots of Harry Potter related crafts, activities that you can do.

https://code.org/learn has lots of opportunities to learn coding through familiar games and genres. Each activity contains step by step instructions to teach you how to code and program computers.

 

PE

Joe Wicks, the Body Coach is holding PE sessions at 9am everyday on YouTube on The Body Coach TV. https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1  There are also some children's exercise videos here.

If that is a little energetic for 9am then Cosmic Kids Yoga is great and can be found on Youtube. 

If you go on You Tube there are lots of Just Dance workouts that you can join in with.
