Week 1
Dear Year 3,
I’ve had a really busy first week of the holidays. It all started with me going to Tramlines festival with my mum and Zachary. We were right at the front, dancing and singing. It was really magical but busy three days!
The rest of the week has been slightly less busy. We enjoyed visiting our local park, playing dress up and visiting a cake shop in Chesterfield.
On Saturday morning we decided to bake some biscuits as a special treat. We use this recipe (https://thehappyfoodie.co.uk/recipes/fork-biscuits/) but changed it a bit to add chocolate (our favourite 🤩). Just before the biscuits were finished, we pushed pieces of chocolate in to the top of them to finish them off. We then enjoyed eating fresh chocolate biscuits with a glass of milk.
