Week 4 - Topic

M

Art - Who is in your family?

Draw a picture of the people in your family on paper or on the Paint Project on Purple Mash called 'My Family'.

Label them my mum, my brother, my dad, my gran etc. These do not need capital letters because many of you have mums, dads, stepdads, stepmothers and aunties and this is not their proper name.

In Purple Mash you can drag the words from the word bank.

Then label the people using capital letters for their names e.g. Steve. Kim, Dogger.                                  In Purple Mash you can type names of your own under the word bank where it says abc.

What is the most common colour of hair in your house?

What it their favourite animal?

Ask them to collect this and place in a tally chart or make a bar chart together on paper or on the computer.

They could make do this on the computer using  the Purple Mash Tool '2Count'
