Hello from Mrs Sykes
Hi everyone I hope you have all had a good week! We have been enjoying the sun and the lovely warm weather. This week on one of our daily walks we saw some friendly cows in the field who came to say hello π. We also saw some beautiful pink flowers which made us smile πΈ. In the woods we saw lots and lots of pretty bluebells.
We had a lovely bank holiday weekend and we had a little picnic in the garden to celebrate VE Day. We found some bunting to hang up outside and we blew some balloons up. Lucy loved playing with the balloons ππ. I baked some scones to eat and we had them with butter and jam π.
I miss you all and I would love to see what you have been doing this week so please keep sending your pictures and emails π.
Take care
Love Mrs Sykes xx
Mrs Hayward here!
Hello, hope you’ve all had a good week and enjoyed spending time outside in the sunshine βοΈ . This week we have been spending lots of time in the garden and been on lots of dog walks. We’ve been exploring around our village again. We’ve found another river, I think this is our new favourite! Raisin, our dog, went for a swim. When she came out she got us all wet too π¦!
On Friday it was VE Day, we made bunting to hang outside our house. We couldn’t get to the shops to buy anything so we cut the flags π¬π§ out of carrier bags! In the evening Mr Hayward and I played a quiz on the computer π» with some of our friends, to make it more fun we dressed up! Did you do anything special to celebrate VE Day? I’d love to hear about it.
I hope you’re all happy, safe and having fun.
I miss you all, don’t forget you can send us emails whenever you like to tell us what you’ve been doing, to say hello or ask us questions.
Lots of love,
Mrs Hayward xxx
Hey everyone! I hope you are all OK... I keep thinking about you all. I spoke to a few more of you on the telephone this week... it was so lovely to hear about what you’ve been doing.
We have been enjoying the sunshine, we’ve played in the garden, played Snap!, baked a cake, we have done a bit of the boy’s school work and made a kite using a plastic carrier bag. We also took Peach on her first walkies ...
We celebrated VE Day π¬π§ by wearing red β€οΈ, white π€ and blue π. We painted bunting and flags and baked scones. We went out into our front garden and had a picnic with our scones and jam! We waved to our neighbours and chatted from a distance. It was lovely!
We also had a VE Day Lockdown ‘Front Door Portrait’ taken by our lovely neighbour who is a photographer. It’s a special photo to look back on and remember our time as a family during lockdown. Maybe you and your family could take a ‘Front Door Portrait’ to keep as a memory?
Hope you all have a good week and are happy and healthy. Remember I love hearing from you so please email me any photos or questions. love from Mrs Coles
