Go on Phonics play. You can revise any sound you wish. Click on Phase 2 Try the sound 'e' as in 'egg' or 'pet'. Click on Obb and Bob, Buried Treasure or Dragon's Den Sound out and blend the word. Sort the words like we do in class. Is it real or alien?
Talk about the other ways this sound is pronounced. These are not a common occurrence. For example 'e' makes a long sound in 'evil', 'equal' and 'Egypt'.
