This week we are reading the story 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson.

Have a go at making your own Gruffalo! You could find objects from around the house to make a Gruffalo or you could try to make one outside using objects you have found such as sticks and stones. If you have some playdough at home you could make a Gruffalo with your playdough. If you have a paper plate at home and some paints you could have a go at making the face of a Gruffalo like in the picture below.

Have a go at making some different Gruffalo recipes. Maybe you could make up your own ‘Owl ice cream’ Scrambled snake’, ‘a fruity Gruffalo crumble’ or try these recipes below...

This week we are going on a train adventure! We will be practising some special train moves. Can you think of a name for your train? We will be practising the following movements: 

• moving our opposite arms and legs forward at the same time. 
• changing our speed to go faster then slower. 
• reversing and moving backwards. 
• crawling through tunnels.
